At The McClaren Performance Golf Academy, it is our aim to develop young golfers into professional golfers by providing the maximum support to our students and their parents. The pathway to the elite level in golf is both expensive and complicated and it is our desire to correct that by making it more affordable and simple.
To find out more about how we do that and to get in contact with ourselves about joining, keep scrolling.
Our academy first started in late 2019 when, located at Rockliffe Hall, we provided 6 young talented golfers with high quality coaching, strength and conditioning training and sport psychology support.
From there we progressed and not only increased the number of our golfers but also moved to Close House Golf Club just outside Newcastle Upon Tyne

We’ve now also expanded our operation further and set up another academy, moving back to Rockliffe Hall.

We now provide our services for over 30 golfers and below you can see a breakdown of our current operation, evidencing what we provide dependent on what group or location that golfer is in. Click the buttons below to see more.

There are many factors that we assess when deciding which group our golfers work in and what support they get. We assess experience, technical ability, physicality and psychology amongst other factors too. Regardless our aim is to move our golfers through this pathway.

Send us any information that you feel is relevant to us about your child (name, age, handicap, competition experience) and a video of their swing if possible. If we feel your child is of a high enough standard and there is space available then we will invite you and your child for a trial period and proceed from there.
We look forward to hearing from you.
